Wind Fairy

A beautiful wind fairy is a creature with the power to manipulate and play with the wind.

Tough image to draw, so come and let's work on it together.

Swoosh - goes the wind, in a circular direction around the fairy, notice her wings whipping around her.

Her skirt is going in the same direction, up in a counter-clockwise motion.

Her hair is the greatest part of the work in this drawing, so relax get your pencil and start with sketching the long motion of the hair.

Take your time and yet relax your hand enough to get a natural flow to the hair.

Don't forget when you are drawing, you can copy this, but you can just use it as inspiration and feel confident to draw your own version.

In other words, don't fret if the drawing doesn't look exactly the same.

It is the process of drawing that is important.

I can't make the same drawing twice. So don't get frustrated - just keep drawing.

This fairy has amazing hair flying in the wind all around her head. Notice that this drawing has a fair amount of work done on making her hair look shiny. So this a good drawing to copy.
