Throughout mythology or myths there were dragons, and I now have the opportunity to draw dragons with greek gods and heros.
Even the egyptians believed that dragons inhabited the night, their myths included the whole phenomenon of sunlight and darkness, The God Ra and the Dragon fighting for supremacy.

This close up helps you see the face of this bird-like dragon.
He is different isn't he?
You can start drawing this dragon with an S shape also.
Once you set up the shape of the Dragon start gradually filling in the details, either with a line drawing, or if you wish gentle shading working up to heavier pressure on the pencil.
Just remember that you will create your own drawing, and it is important that you have fun.
you can always put him a different position.
Lots of good shading creates a more 3D image.
I kind of like the way this guy is gently crossing his arms - he looks wise.
