I imagine all kinds of berries and weeds, nuts and mushrooms in their lives.

I find I am also imagining the colors of those berries and weeds, and mushrooms and nuts, in a fabulous painting.

My sweet little character is enjoying her surroundings, and using the mushroom as furniture.

Take your time, but start to draw her.

Copying is one of the major ways to learn to draw, so feel free to copy and draw your own version of this little beauty.

Practice is the most important aspect in learning to draw!

As you draw her, remember that she lives deep in the heart of the forest, under the mounds around the great oak trees. They live in the grasses of a meadow, with nuts and berries.

Feel free to add things that come to mind as you sketch.
