Monster Quest

Drawing of A Warrior On a Monster Quest

A drawing of a hunter running through the woods, over hills and rocks on a monster quest!

I am getting better at this kind of anatomical drawing.

Come and practice for free!

I just love the look of this hunter.

I have a tendency to make my warriors just a tad too pretty.

I think this guy looks serious.

His monster dog - well I wouldn't mess with that dog.

Have fun and draw away.

Monster Hunter

Start with a loose outline to get the feeling of motion.

Then break down the pieces of the image - outlining the larger shapes and building blocks.

You know every time I look at my drawings, I do see things that need improvement.

His hair isn't moving enough.

See, your drawings are never going to be perfect, just keep pushing through that.

I'm not being critical either, just that I know each drawing gets me better and better.

So I say this to you as encouragement.

This is why we must keep practicing, but I really like the anatomy of this guy

- I'm getting better at that.

There is a male anatomy lesson in my fairy drawing book, along with one male hero - and 10 other fabulous fairies.

Here is a Close Up of his Face!

Oh yah! This guy looks like a hunter.

Now that I see his face again, he has a Dolph Lundgren look - do you remember that action hero guy from the 80's?

This happens to me sometimes.

I end up drawing no one and it looks like someone afterwards.

Close Up of a Warrior on a Monster Quest

The good news is that I think his chin and mouth look very set almost snearing in a way that makes me think he knows what he is doing.

I am creating an instruction book - coming soon with just faces, using the features of the face to make a point.

I also have a great instruction book currently, that will give you lots of ideas of how to put a figure together.

There is also a bit on anatomy - very useful.
