Medieval Princesses

Drawing Of A Medieval Princess

This section of Medieval Princesses introduces you to some of the cool clothing of medieval times.

Imagine all the medieval princess dresses you can - we will draw together.

Start Drawing

I really like this Little Medieval Princess.

She is dressed in her travelling clothes - notice the hooded cloak.

I would start drawing her by outlining the clothing, and the outline of her head.

This is a challenging drawing, in that the hair is sort of tucked under at the neckline.

It is a chance to really work on your depth when you are drawing.

Of A Pretty Princess Face

There are lots of layers in this drawing, from the individual strands of hair, the loose braid framing her face, and then the clothing.

There is lots of draping to master.

Have a lot of fun with her cloak, oh and the great little magic stone around her neck.

Remember that medieval times were full of magical beliefs, and life as a medieval princess was lived in a dark stone castle, so you could even add your own backgrounds.

Again, have fun drawing her and don't worry if it looks exactly the same.
