This page will have wonderful advice from famous people, and will help you learn to draw with fairy artists like Amy Brown.
There are others already, wonderful Jennifer Galasso, and practically legendary Sheila Wolk.
I have recently added Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, Jody Bergsma, and Jane Starr Weils, all accomplished artists in the fantasy art world.
I am so thrilled to be writing this page.
In fact these people are the reason that I draw and paint fairies.
Get some inspiration as well as some really great advice!
If you want to draw- or even have a tiny little inkling that you want to draw - these are the people to learn from.
Jody's paintings are very flowing with light and lovely color, using light to emphasize the beautiful fairies and fairytale images.
I loved her interview - read it all...
When I discovered her wonderful artwork on the web, I felt so much inspiration to create my own fairies!
Magic! That is what I felt when I looked at her work.
This image "believe" wow if those aren't words of encouragement to any artist - I don't know what would be.
This is what I have learned - believe!
Important when creating your own artwork is to follow your heart and your own style will emerge.
Jennifer Galasso is an inspiration for all of us.
There are no words to describe the sense of awe I feel when I look at one of Stephanie's paintings. She has a beautiful movement and "swirl" that always reminds me of dreams. In fact she has named her website "dreamscape" and I for one get it.
You will also notice some fantastic and absolutely unexpected details in the background that just make you want to stay and look.
Read her interview and you will see how much encouragement she gives to really practice - always. So gawk at her paintings for a while and then get back to work.
Click on the image or the Headline to visit the page about Jane Starr Weils' Fairy Art. Jane has a real interest in painting fairies, mermaids, warriors and celtic romance or fairy tale themed paintings. She has graciously agreed to be interviewed by me, and I hope you enjoy.
She has a following among the galleries and museums.
As a highly collected artist, she has paved the way for our fairy art to be well-accepted by the art world.
And Look at it - absolutely gorgeous.
