Drawing Of A Fairy Face

Drawing of a fairy face is probably the most important aspect of creating your own fairy artwork.

If you want free faces to help in your fairy drawing practice - here they are.

There will be many fairy faces to copy. What is important is to just keep drawing, and working on sketching the features of many faces.

I hope you will find lots of great faces coming soon, but remember you can always practice by drawing beautiful faces from magazines.

Drawing of A Coy Fairy Face

I do that.

I love to collect fashion magazines, and rip out the pages that have good faces, or poses to inspire my drawing.

I don't have a live model of anything, so I have to come up with the idea in my head, or a magazine pose or face helps in the process.

They make good models, or you can always get someone you know to sit still - not always easy, but...

This is my first portrait and you can enjoy and copy what you see.

This fairy I call "coy".

What do I mean by that?

Coy is an older word, but it means saucy, but playing shy.

She is mischievious and yet sweet.

I had a lot of fun drawing her.

Draw the basic shape of her head, and using the basic premise of using lines to measure where to put her eyes, nose and mouth... in this way you can make sure her face looks realistic.

If you need help with the basics don't forget to check out the free lessons at how to draw, and for more intense instruction my drawing book will have you tackling these practice drawings easily.

In the meantime, practice drawing this cute fairy with the large eyes and adorable haircut.
