This is a pencil drawing of a really magical dragon trainer.
Copy her for free!
Your drawing will improve with lots of practice.
She is a charmer, and quite able to train some of the most dangerous flyers right from birth.
Notice she has a baby flyer on her arm.
These little creatures are a lot more dangerous than they look.
This beautiful fairy with her flowing hair and gown are going to be a great challenge to draw.
Start with your pencil and paper and loosely outline.
As you work adding the detail, gently add the shading.
Keep in mind that copying is a great way to learn to draw, and we always get better the more we keep on practicing.
You are going to make some great pencil drawings on this site.

Let your hand flow easily over the paper when you are creating the lines and flow of the gown.
Notice she is standing (or floating) as if in a magic dance, holding her dress and balancing her little trainee.
You can see how her subject curls himself around her arm perching carefully so as not to hurt her.
That is the kind of interaction between characters that you want to develop in your drawing.
That is the charm - the spell she must have him under.
Enjoy drawing each part of this and make it your own.
Here you can see all of the little details of the fairies face, and her wild flowing hair.
In order to draw hair like this, use your pencil to create the long strokes, and then finely and softly - going in the direction of the hair create the shading.
When shading think about the drawing you are creating, look for the folds to shade darker, and remember to leave the highlights white.
This all depends on the thinking that is going on while you are drawing.
Focus on the point of the drawing.
Have fun and copy the best you can - remember to relax and don't worry if your drawing looks a little different.
You can copy or you can just get inspiration.
This whole site is full of ideas and inspiration, and my dragon drawing book is ready.
