Watch out - There is a Dragon Sleeping in that cave!

Well there is if we draw it!

Here's my sleeping dragon - are the eyes closed or half open?

Asleep By A Tree in a Pretty Meadow

This is the kind of dragon you should be very careful about.

Notice he is snoozing, with his eyes half open?

I love the look of this dragon.

He has obviously become exhausted in the mid-afternoon and found himself some shade under a big old oak tree.

Imagine walking through a meadow on a beautiful afternoon, and stumbling upon this crochety looking old dragon.

Have a great time drawing and sketching this guy!

He is resting his heavy toothy head on his claw, propped on the roots of the tree.

Enjoy capturing the rough look of his face, and all the teeth in his mouth.

A background of an old oak tree adds a little flavor.

This drawing can be a really good exercise in increasing your dragon drawing abilities.
