Dragon Sculpture

Here we will create pictures of dragons that are made of concrete, marble or bronze, some dragon sculpture of medieval castles - this will be a ball!

No, we will not be sculpting, but drawing.

You know that sometimes drawing is like sculpting - I mean you have to think like that when you are drawing.

This will just be a lot of fun, creating some more fabulous dragons that might look like they are sculpture.

Concrete Looking Dragon Drawing

The pose of this dragon, and the wings could be the poster-child of any fairy tale, particularly in medieval times.

Feel free to copy and think sculpting when you are drawing.

Notice all the sharp edges of this dragon - well I tried to make him look like the sculpture you might find in front of a museum.

Here He Is A Little Closer

Notice all the planes on his face - nothing looks smooth or shiny, he looks carved.

So this is a sharp-edged looking dragon that you can practice drawing.

Even the scales on his neck should look sharp and a little coarse.
