This drawing shows the abilities of diana goddess and huntress - she is also associated with the moon - which we will have to explore further.
For now draw her and have a great time practicing.
Diana is an amazing character from Greek Mythology - Artemis is the corresponding goddess in Roman Mythology.
I think that is how it works...Anyway, for drawing purposes, we can think about how we might portray a huntress, or even a moon goddess - out hunting in the dark woods?
Are you ready to get drawing?
Have fun with your ideas for this goddess.
Here is my attempt.
My Diana is standing in a very self-satisfied way, perhaps made the kill she was trying for.
Notice I have dressed her in a traditional goddess dress.
You could also dress her as an amazon, in more male-like warrior garb.
Please keep in mind, when I put a drawing up on this site, very often it is only a sketch, and sometimes putting it up and seeing it on the screen makes such a difference.
Now I can really see it, and that is why you have to sketch and sketch and sketch, before you create the composition and really put together a painting.
My Diana looks a little cross-eyed.
Oops!
See many sketches are important.
Let's see you fix her up.

I do like her hair though!
Get to work, and draw her, also creating your own.
I will suggest my Fairy Drawing Book as there are lots of good lessons. Over 200 pages of how to get started capturing your own fairies.
