Dark Dragons

New Dragon - Really Dark Dragon!

I had so much fun drawing this dark and frightening dragon.

Notice all the work done on just the different tones. This is important to really master in your drawing. Once you start molding your drawing using just dark pencil and learn where to leave the highlights - you will really have a blast!

So, if you want to draw this dark dragon start by sketching the shape, then putting in the details just by shading the shapes, then blending, and leaving the white where you want it.

When you look at the horns, weird big horns in the middle of his head, notice that I have left a good deal of the white, and I have shaded the edges as if I were creating a cylinder. This is an important technique to learn.

Don't get frustrated, this takes time.
