This fabulous male warrior is an area that I have not provided a lot of drawing instruction yet...This is coming - I promise.

So if you are at the level where you can draw this guy - enjoy the practice.

I think you should give it a try anyway, and there is some free figure drawing instruction at the link, although very basic, and my Fairy Drawing Book does have one male figure, and could help you get started.

Scary Battle Knight

With regards to the fashion of warriors - please note he has a big leather belt around his waist, and some kind of loin cloth or skirt.

These things were popular with soldiers from all kinds of conquering nations.

You can experiment with the clothing, using armor, leather, and chains.

This knight is wearing a cloth, a simple leather belt, oh and I added a chain for some detail.

I am working on developing a whole area on the site for really exploring the kinds of clothing we can use in our drawing.

Notice this character is carrying a very large weapon that he obviously uses in battle.

This drawing would work very well with a large axe, or you could create any large weapon you like.

This kind of fantasy drawing is very popular in the gaming world, so the more you can learn to draw your own characters, and the more you learn about anatomy the more interesting your drawings will be.

This is an area most of us need to work on. (Me included)
