Ancient Warriors

These are my ancient warriors - what's really exciting these guys were real, celtic warriors, knights, roman warriors, you name it - you can draw it!

An Injured Warrior!

What's interesting about this warrior, is that while he definitely looks like he's from an ancient culture, it's not that easy to identify which one. The point is that many of them had some of the same elements.

I drew this guy pretty recently, the armor looks like it could come from an Incan or Egyptian Background. The hair could also be Incan, Egyptian, and/or Native American of some kind. However if you have been watching Vikings on the History Channel recently, you might have noticed that Ragnar has a similar hairstyle. I just found this interesting.

The more you study different cultures, the more similarities you see. Remember this in your art. You could be creating a futuristic warrior and use some of the same elements.

When drawing this warrior, try to capture some of the expression I have "tried" to put in the face. This puts your character in a story.
