Scrapbooking Paper

Scrapbooking Paper is the backbone of all scrapbooking, card-making, altered art, and even collage paper projects.

Everything in most of these art crafts starts with a scrapbooking or background paper.

There are many forms of papers, some consist of a just a background color.

Here is just a simple kind of blue sky paper. So many themes can come from this type of background.

Here is a rough pink grungie kind of paper. Something fascinating can come from this kind of a Scrapbooking Paper.

Once we have a background - now what?

The whole theme of this paper will dictate the style of your project.

For instance a soft pastel color, or a dark strong color will create a whole different feel to any project.

Add some texture and ageing and you have something else.

Add a Decorative Element

You can either look for a paper with some kind of decorative corner or edge, or even an all over pattern that intrigues you.

Sometimes you can cut out something in a paper and add it to a plain paper to create a more personal and creative look.

This site will give you many options when it comes to papers.

Most of my packages have some very subtle plain papers with just some texture, while others have wild and even wacky designs for you to experiment with.

Here are some things that I have played with to add to the above papers.

Here I have added a couple of 3-D embellishments of lilacs. This is something you can do with any of the embellishments that I sell, and then use on your Editor. I use Photoshop Elements.

I love it.

On this rough pink page I added the brush Bliss. You can add a brush to any paper and play with it. You can stretch it, shrink it, and then blur it with all kinds of effects.

You can also just buy papers that look cool.

This paper is one that I painted and played with. It will be added to a package for sale soon.
