Scrapbooking Borders

There are so many ways to use Scrapbooking Borders and there are so many different things that could be used as borders.

You can use any embellishment or brush decoratively and make them into a border.

You can create papers that have a border, or purchase them.

There are painted borders, nicely ripped and even in digital scrapbooking they can be made to look three Dimensional.

Painted Borders

I have many examples of different painted borders. Most of my fairy scrapbooking kits have some kind of border.

Use an Embellishment for a Border

What I find very exciting about digital scrapbooking, is that because you never run out, you can take any embellishment either painted yourself or purchased and re-use the image over and over as a border.

Below is my little lilac bunch embellishment which can be used in so many ways, but then I took it shrunk it down and used it in a border kind of line up.

Also with Photoshop or some kind of editor you can either use it on a background or use the entire border as a brush, just putting it over the layout in any position you wish.

This is what I call my Mermaid Tail Brush. It is a brush in that it would be sold as an embellishment in a png format, that has a transparent background, and can be laid over a colored background.
