Pirates are such a big part of many fairy tales, old folk lore and stories were told about them for centuries. Pirate coloring pages are exciting as they definitely had a lot of adventures. Many stories of pirates include haunted pirate ships.They also included treasure - buried and stolen. Sometimes they were called swashbucklers - I have no idea where this term came from - sorry. However, it usually involved sword play. This means that the pirates themselves would probably fight over the treasure, and the plunder as they roamed the seas looking for the treasure.Some of the adventures and rumors talked about women pirates being a part of these bands of ruffians. So I have added a woman pirate coloring page. Get to work coloring!
Pirate LadyThis pirate lady or is she a Pirate Queen?Whatever she is definitely an adventuress, and is carrying her treasure - perhaps she is going to bury it on some caribbean island? Maybe she has her treasure and is bringing it back to her pirates ship. Have fun coloring her skirts and maybe even add some treasure falling out of the chest. I know you are probably thinking "how could she pick it up?" - well this is a fairy tale.

Pirates Of The Caribean or Johnny Depp pirateMany pirates of the caribean were wild dressers - but I think that Johnny Depp in the movie outdid everyone.This is my own version of his costume. What do you think?
