Click on the image to see all of this packageWhat are mermaids about?They live and breathe in the water, soaring through the depths like birds, crashing through the waves, and sparkling in the sun. When I think of Mermaids, I imagine them sitting on a rock with the waves thundering and spraying them with foam, creating a sparkling glow from their scaly tails. I see long hair blowing in the sea breeze, or flowers gently braided into the long tresses. I love to paint them, with underwater palaces and the beautiful waves of aqua blues and greens. Creating magical scrapbooking downloads in the form of Mermaid Art is really just my excuse to paint everything I love. Enjoy.
White Cap MermaidShe is a very stylized mermaid with a slightly startled look about her.Her starkly white hair is sharp and crisp. I have used blues, aquas and greens as well as the sharp crisp white in the scrapbooking papers that create her world. The browns blend with the rock embellishment.
