Think about it - is there a hero coming over the horizon? Is he walking, running? No of course not he has to be riding a horse. Any knight in shining armor has to be astride his wonderful strong steed. The horse - beautiful and faithful.
Coloring a horse helps you get a feel for drawing a horse, it helps with learning about the muscles and getting a feel for creating the shine of his coat. What can you do with a picture of a horse? Wow - just enjoy it. Here are my horses.
Above is my beautiful dancing horse, as he expresses his happiness and excitement.
This horse coloring picture is of a horse getting a snuggle, and maybe a snack.
Or is the princess is protecting her little mare?
This princess is patting a very large, strong, warhorse.
This one is being lured by an apple in the garden, hanging gently in a tree.
A messenger and her horse galloping through the night.
Here is a beautiful pony with a curly tail (imagine coloring that pretty tail?)sipping from a fountain.
Young princess out for an adventure on her pony.

While Horse Coloring Pages are wonderful, there is a real excitement about scary dragons. Follow the link to those dragons, but feel free to find my cute baby dragons too.
Horses run and horses prance, and horses even fly in fairy tales, but they need a princess to ride them, and they must have a castle with a resting place. I don't doubt that all horses must be friends with the fairies and Flower Fairies and I am sure all horses enjoy the taste of sweet smelling flowers.
All these horses are a very exciting addition to all my unicorns and pegasus pages.
Gothic Fairies are magical and a little frightening to horses, but they are a major part of all Fairy Tales, and I wonder what horses think about santa and that other magic little fellow -Cupid.
