A Sea Dragon which fought against the Sea Gods, or even with them (depends on the story)can be colored with blues and purples.The dragons of fire can be explosive in reds. Imagine a huge dragon head spewing fire - these were frighteningly evil dragons. This is the traditional image of how a dragon is often colored, but you can experiment still within the range of red colors by choosing deep purples and orange reds for highlights and shading.
