The dragons of fire can be explosive in reds. Imagine a huge dragon head spewing fire - these were frighteningly evil dragons. This is the traditional image of how a dragon is often colored, but you can experiment still within the range of red colors by choosing deep purples and orange reds for highlights and shading.

Norse Dragons were often sea dragons, that is why the vikings believed that they had to disguise their ships as dragons.
Imagine the azures and torquoise of the ocean waves, as many sea dragons do exist in dragon lore. Were they Real? When you read some of the facts about dragons you will discover that many old cultures thought they were real. Who knows?
British Dragons and European Dragons were the traditional fire breathing dragons of fairy tales. This brown and green creature was a flying dragon - very common type. Every wild dragon looks for a Castle to attack, or even to protect. Is your dragon trying to save a princess or steal one? She might be out in the garden looking at the flowers in the garden with her friends the unicorn, her beautiful Horse, the flower fairies, of course the Flowers, with gorgeous little Butterflies flitting around, and imagine pegasus soaring over the towers of the castle.
