Aesops fables are bedtime stories as they teach children some pretty good lessons. The morals of aesops fables make them particularly worthwhile. You will find some of my favorites such as the Tortoise and the Hare.
Grimms Brothers
Some of the best tales are a combination of the imagination and the local folklore heard by the Grimm Brothers. You will find some interesting fairy tale triva at the link above. You will be amazed at how fascinating these original tales really are.
