Brat Fairy Image

Okay, I'll bet you are wondering why I called this little girl a "brat fairy"? Well, She is stubbornly folding her arms, and the look on her face makes you think she must have just stamped her foot too. Also, I gave her "bat" wings.

I have drawn her to look like a little peasant girl from a fairy story. She has a really large bonnet, perhaps with more hair tucked up in, and she has pretty hair loosely falling around her face. It is a pretty face, but with a sternly defiant or angry expression on it.

I like her little dress with the charming big bow right at her waist. Also the bows on her cute shiny shoes, adds to the "irony" (meaning that I'm having fun with it here. She looks miserable but her clothes look happy and cute.) That's what irony is. So, as always on this site, I am teaching you to become an artist. You are learning artists terms.

When creating any picture, you should think about the story behind it. Even in a coloring page there is always a story, or a tale. So, feel free to draw in other ideas that just pop into your head. Go with the flow.
