Were Amazon Warrior Women just some of the greek mythology goddesses, or were they real amazon warriors, and even trojan warriors?
Classical writings refer to the Amazons as a race of women who worked in agriculture, hunting and warfare. They were said to fight like men and took some men as slaves, so that their race would not die out.
Girl children were kept and raised in the all-female culture.
There were many stories about all the different queens.
Apparently they founded many cities in the area.
So much Greek art is full of the images of the wild Amazon Warrior Women riding their chariots - using their bows.
Were they real? Were they just mythical female warriors or were they actually involved protecting troy as many stories suggest.
Herodotus reported that the descendants of the Amazon Warriors were the Sarmatians.
Today's southeastern Crimea -
It is legend that a group of amazons may have agreed to marry Scythian men as long as they did not have to behave as normal women.
These stories of Amazons were mostly considered myth until recent archaeological discoveries have found that warrior burials in Sarmatian tribes were about 25% women. It looks like a lot of their women were buried in full warrior gear.
How about that?
So, is it possible that not only were they greek mythology goddesses, but could have been real greek warriors, and could one or two have actually been a trojan warrior?

Whatever the truth - it doesn't matter as they are a very real part of many culture's history.
Now some of the stories of the Amazons describes them as having their own island, and riding winged horses. Certainly an idea for drawing...
In Gothic times (this actually means the time of the Goths and some say medieval).
They had a another word for these magical and strong women fairies "weelcyrge".
The vikings had their own legends about Amazons.
The Old Norse stories describe them as very strong women, but also
fairies called Valrkyrja or Valkyries.
The norse believed that these fairies rode wolves in wolf packs.
